Consumer, Family and Community Advocacy Training

Consumer, Family and Community Advocacy training will be offered July 20-24, 2009 at Gallaudet University. Financial assistance is now available!

This one-week training session is for deaf and hard of hearing individuals and parents of deaf and hard of hearing children, focusing on improving the quality of life of deaf and hard of hearing consumers and their families. The training focuses on advocacy, as a process, and the tenets of effective advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels.
